The
disc granulation method is a method of mixing and granulating powdered base fertilizers with a disc granulator.
Principle: First of all, all kinds of powdered basic fertilizers are stored in their respective storage hoppers, and then measured and mixed according to the proportion of the formula, and then added to the rotating disc of the disc granulator by the powder feeding tank. At the same time, according to the taste requirements of the granular compound fertilizer and the characteristics of the raw material fertilizer, the liquid component or an appropriate amount of water is evenly drizzled on the material in the disc through the liquid component distributor of the disc granulator, in order to meet the liquid phase required for granulation. The frictional and centrifugal effects of the rotating disc and its edges on the material cause the material to move circumferentially, causing the powder particles to rub and squeeze each other and gradually agglomerate into granules. Due to the difference in particle quality, the gravity and centrifugal effect is different, when the gravity and centrifugal effect increases enough to overcome the friction between the particles will be thrown out of the disc. The smaller particles remain in the disc and continue to adhere to the fine powder particles, to gradually increase the same from the edge of the disc overflow. Overflow particles from the disc for drying and sieving, particle size qualified after cooling that is the finished granular compound fertilizer. Sieved coarse particles are crushed and then sieved, and sieved fine particles are returned to the disc granulator and then granulated.
