1, The correct addition of fermentation bacteria. One kilogram of aerobic fermentation bacteria can ferment about 10 tons of cow manure or sludge. So in the ration to add about 30-50% by weight ration of cow dung, or straw crushed, mushroom residue or rice husk, sawdust and other organic materials to adjust the permeability and looseness of raw materials. If the added bedding material choose straw crushed or sawdust, etc., the fermentation time should be extended due to its high wood fiber content. In addition in adding the strain is to make the strain can be more uniformly mixed in the material, should be diluted in advance: add 5-10 kg of rice bran (or bran, corn flour and other alternatives) in each kilogram of fermenting bacteria, stir evenly and then evenly scattered into the pile with better results.

2, The correct stacking of raw materials: fermentation of raw materials ready to stack correctly, the height of the stacked materials can not be too short or too high, the width should also be suitable for turning machine for operation, the general requirements of the pile height between 1-1.3m, the width can be adjusted according to your site and equipment, the length is not limited.

3, Adjust the moisture content of fermented raw materials: organic fertilizer fermented raw materials moisture content should be controlled at 60-65%. Simple to judge, you can grab a handful of materials, and then hold tight, finger seams can see the watermark but will not fall low, the material can be scattered on the ground, this state of the material moisture content is just right. Low moisture content, slow fermentation of materials; high moisture content, poorly ventilated materials will lead to material spoilage.

4, Maintain the temperature of fermented materials. Compost fermentation start temperature should be above 15 ℃, winter or low temperature should take insulation measures, the fermentation process should be controlled in the pile temperature below 70-75 ℃.
