The fermentation process of quality organic fertilizer
compost generally takes
45-60 days. This is because the warming stage in the early stage of composting as well as the high temperature stage will kill plant pathogenic pathogens, insect eggs, weed seeds and other harmful microorganisms, but the main role of microorganisms in this process is metabolism, reproduction, and only a very small amount of metabolic products, and these metabolic products are unstable and not easily absorbed by plants.
It is only in the later cooling period that microorganisms humify organic matter and produce a large amount of metabolites beneficial to plant growth and absorption in this process, which takes 45-60 days.
Composting by this process can achieve three purposes: firstly, it is harmless; secondly, it is humic; thirdly, it produces a large number of microbial metabolites such as various antibiotics and protein substances.
